Who's behind The Abundant Journey?
Greetings Beautiful People! My name is Gelisicia. Who am I? That is a loaded question! I'm a God-adoring, music-loving, bubbly, headstrong, big-hearted, beach girlie who loves to read, write, bake, travel, and dress-up. In a nutshell, I am a lover of life. My goal is to encourage others to do the same. That's not to say that sadness, sorrow, anger, and tears won't ever come. I know this from personal experience. When my mother passed away in 2020, I was crushed and it felt as though life for me was shattered. My idea of what I thought life embodied was no more. Life itself didn't make sense and after a little while the woman staring back at me in the mirror became unrecognizable. After almost drowning in a sea of my own despair, I knew I had to make a pivot. By making the conscious decision to live life in abundance, I realized that the sadness, sorrow, anger, and tears were only small specks in the bigger picture. Daily, I began to live life full and put my all into it so when I leave this Earth, I leave empty. My hope is that this site inspires you to not only live life, but live it to the full...full of joy, love, peace, laughter, and adventure.
